We believe that
stories are powerful,
both for storytellers
and listeners.

Sharing a story can be empowering and transformational. Hearing a story can change the way you see the world.

Yet rarely do we have a chance to see the world from a young child’s point of view, especially those living in some of the harshest conditions in the world.

If I Could Tell the World: Voices of Displaced Children aims to share stories from the perspective of young children and their families facing crisis and/or displacement using film, photos, drawings, and other formats.

We hope the process of telling stories may help young children and families feel agency and empowerment and that the stories can influence local, national, and international actors to better support young children in programming, policy, and resource allocation.
